Your numbers simplified, so you can focus on running your business.
Founder
I am Jean Callao, founder of Kuenta Bookkeeping Services. I have always been a numbers person. I earned my degree in Mathematics from San Francisco State University, then built my career in Database and Data Analysis. Those experiences shaped the logical, systems-oriented way I approach financial information today.
Bookkeeping is more than recording transactions. It is the foundation for financial data analysis, tax preparation, and sound business decisions. When the books are accurate and organized, business owners can understand where their money is going, spot trends, and make informed decisions about spending, pricing, and growth.
Clients usually come to Kuenta when they are:

I also hold a graduate certification in using Claude for Accounting. I use technology thoughtfully where it helps streamline routine work, but the focus remains on accurate, reliable books. A professional bookkeeper reviews every result for accuracy before it reaches your books.
How we work
Every report and every insight depends on books that are complete, reconciled, and consistent. That groundwork is where every engagement starts.
Clean books should answer real questions: where the money comes from, where it goes, and what is changing. Reporting is built around the decisions you need to make.
AI-assisted workflows handle repetitive work and flag possible discrepancies. A professional bookkeeper reviews the results before they reach your books.
Bookkeeping, backed by data
Kuenta pairs careful, reviewed bookkeeping with AI-assisted workflows and data analysis. The goal is simple: clean books you can trust, and a clear read on what they mean for your next decision.
Credentials
Jean is a certified Intuit ProAdvisor at the Silver tier and works in QuickBooks Online every day, from transaction categorization and reconciliations to cleanup projects and financial reporting.
